CIPS
  • CIPS – Certified International Property Specialist

  • CIPS Candidates – are Qualified Individuals who, successfully completed the Course and have declared their CIPS candidacy by so notifying NAR in writing and having paid all fees then required.

  • CIPS Designees shall mean those Qualified Individuals who have been awarded the CIPS designation after fulfilling the following requirements within two (2) years after declaring their CIPS candidacy: (i) successful completion of the CIPS Institute courses; (ii) completion of an application to become a CIPS Designee; and (iii) payment of all fees then required.

  • Qualified Individuals shall mean: (i) individuals whose principal real estate business is located within the United States or one of its territories, or (ii) individuals whose principal real estate business is located outside of the United States and who are members of an association outside of the United States which is a party to a then effective Bilateral Cooperation Agreement with NAR.

  • CIPS Network shall mean CIPS Candidates and CIPS Designees.

  • CIPS Institute shall mean the aggregate of the following five CIPS courses, the completion of which is one requirement for the CIPS designation: three electives:
          1) Global Real Estate: Local Market Course
          2) Transaction Tools
          3) The Business of U.S. Real Estate,
          4) Europe
          5) Asia and the Pacific.

    • The CIPS Network is a worldwide community of real estate practitioners.

    • A membership-based group, which is only available to members of National Association of REALTORS®, the world’s largest trade association.
